1. PURPOSE & APPLICATION

The Carl Gustaf Launcher Carrier is a modular load-bearing and transport solution for the 84 mm recoilless rifle system, supporting varied mission configurations. It allows secure carriage of the weapon, optics, ammunition, and accessories while maintaining quick access and operator mobility in combat environments.

2. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

2.1 Primary Components

1. Transport Rucksack: Detachable from load-bearing frame; supports multiple configurations.
2. Weapon Carrier Frame: High-density EVA foam insert, precision-cut to secure Carl Gustaf launcher.
3. Cordura Protective Sleeve: Foam insert enclosed in Cordura shell with full PALS webbing for MOLLE-compatible mounting.
4. Stabilization Straps: Quick-release buckles for securing the launcher in place.

2.2 Ammunition Carriage

1. Foam-padded pouches for 84 mm rounds (10 mm thickness).
2. 2 Long Ammunition Pouches – individual carry.
3. 3 Short Ammunition Pouches – zippered; can be joined via zippers into a single panel.

2.3 Optics & Accessories Storage

1. Optic Protective Cover: Foam-padded.
2. Optic Cargo Pouch: Foam-padded; secures optics during transport.
3. Muzzle Cover: Foam-reinforced; drawstring closure.
4. Launcher Base Basket: Foam-padded (10 mm) PALS-mounted cradle protecting lower end of launcher.

3. ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT

1. Rain Cover: Lightweight waterproof material, stowed in rucksack compartment; covers entire load system.
2. Helmet Retention System: External helmet mount integrated to the pack.
